This time last year I had just been handed my mother's road bike and taught to use it without stablilisers for a whole 17 miles, in preparation for my first ever Highland Cross. Not being a keen cyclist I had also expected it to be my last!.. Who'd have thought it - here I am a year on and I actually own my very own bike... I have even been known to ride it round Cannock Chase with a smile on my face! ... and now I seem to be entered into the Highland Cross again. The worrying thing is that I seem to be handling the idea of the cycling better than the running this year - not a very good sign of my fitness level atall!!
Its all my brothers fault, he's been landing me in these pickles since we were little kids and now not only do I have to do all that training again but I have to make sure Im not too far behind both family members. I do hope he knows what he's let himself in for! :O)

Sara, I think I am worried, the more I read about this event the more I think I want to do it! I have some ideas for after the Snowdonia Challenge and I think this needs to go on the list!! Well done and I have great admiration for what you are doing and even better that you are doing it with family!! GO GIRL! :-)
